As your closing partner, Two Rivers Title offers cyber insurance coverage through our partner company, Two Rivers National Insurance Agency (TRNIA)
Understanding Cyber Insurance
At Two Rivers Title, we offer cyber insurance coverage for businesses to protect them from potentially devastating security breaches. The following is a breakdown of the cyber coverage options we provide for our clients.
Privacy Liability - Covers the cost of indemnity and defense for a security breach.
Regulatory - Covers fines and penalties from state or federal agencies, such as HIPAA.
Security Breach Response - This coverage secures your network in the event of a security breach, notifies your clients of the breach, and informs the attorney general in your state. It provides coverage for notifications, lawyers, PR firms, IT forensics, and more.
Security Liability - Covers lawsuits and costs related to a distribution of a malicious code.
Media Liability - Provides coverage for your website, including copyrighted material, libel, slander, or an event where malicious information was added to your site during a hack.
Extortion - Covers you in situations where someone requests funds to prevent or stop a disruption in your network. For example, if they lock your network and ask for money in exchange for the password, or threaten a cyber attack if you don’t pay.
Business Interruption/Data Restoration - Covers you in the event that your network is damaged and down for an extended time period. This coverage allows you to recoup the funds you would have earned during the time your network was down, and restores data that was lost or damaged.
Cyber Deception - This coverage provides reimbursement in the event that funds are released to a fraudulent bank account due to deceptive instructions and wire fraud. This policy can reimburse the insured if the proper procedures for releasing funds were followed.
PCI Assessments (Payment Card Industry) - If the insured is not in compliance with the PCI rules for accepting cards, or there is a breach of card information, a PCI Assessment will take place, informing the insured that they need to amend their practices or face fines and penalties.
