Condo legislation has been passed by the Florida legislature that now requires regular building inspections and condominium associations to maintain reserves. Building inspections for condominiums will be required when a building reaches 30 years old and then every 10 years after that, and those within three miles of the coast will occur once it reaches 25 years old.
