On Sunday, May 21st the Two Rivers Title team came together for the Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis walk, the nation’s largest event dedicated to finding cures for digestive diseases.
Known collectively as inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis affect more than 1.6 million Americans. That’s one in every 200 Americans living with one of these debilitating, medically incurable diseases that attack the digestive system. The fastest growing patient population is children under the age of 18. Symptoms of these diseases may include abdominal pain, persistent diarrhea, rectal bleeding, debilitating fatigue, and extreme weight loss.
The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is the leading non-profit organization dedicated to finding cures for these painful and debilitating diseases. The Foundation has invested almost $300 million in ground breaking research while also funding critical patient support and education programs.
Led by our own, Gordana Maurer, the Two Rivers Title team proudly raised $1,505 to support the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation mission. Thank you to all who participated!
